program description
Freeride 1-Day is designed for strong skiers who wish to focus on all mountain skiing and refining skills in the terrain park, but do not wish to travel as extensively. Training will be conducted in and outside of the terrain park, however, our program focuses more on big mountain/freeride skiing than terrain park skiing. Coaches will focus on proper technique and consistency when executing maneuvers in the air, in and out of the terrain park. Additionally, coaches will focus on good decision making, positive self talk, work ethic, perseverance, task oriented skills, teamwork and sportsmanship. They will encourage the use of imagery and visualization. Though there is some use of the terrain park, our program focuses more toward athletes looking to progress their all mountain/freeride skiing.
